Tom Brannon
Tom first joined THV 11 in April 1996 as weekend meteorologist and morning show feature reporter. Two years later, he joined B.J. Sams and Robyn Richardson as weekday meteorologist and co-anchor of "THV 11 This Morning," which was Arkansas' most popular morning news program for over a decade! Tom later worked alongside several other anchors on THV11 This Morning.
After spending over 20 years on THV11 this morning and a collective 22 years at THV11, Tom departed at the end of 2017 to pursue a career in advertising. Three years later, in January 2021, Tom returned to THV11 and stepped into the role of Chief Meteorologist where you can watch him weeknights at 5, 6 and 10PM!
Tom is a native Arkansan, graduating from Cabot High School in 1985. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and a Certificate of Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State University; he holds a seal of approval from the National Weather Association.
Tom is considered the ‘Godfather’ of the THV11 Summer Cereal Drive and looks forward to working once again with the Arkansas Foodbank to help feed hungry Arkansas children and families! 2025 will mark the 25th anniversary of the THV11 Summer Cereal Drive.
Tom and his wife, Leigh Ann, live in Little Rock with their daughter, Sophia.
Hayden Balgavy
Hayden Balgavy is the co-anchor of THV11's Wake Up Central in Little Rock, Arkansas. He is a lifelong Arkansan who loves telling stories in his home state.
Arkansas-born and raised, Hayden Balgavy lived in North Little Rock, Conway, and Cabot, graduating from Cabot High School in 2009. He attended college at Arkansas State University, where he graduated with a degree in Radio/TV with an emphasis in Broadcast Journalism in May 2013. There, he served as Sports Producer for ASU-TV.
Hayden became a member of the THV11 team in May 2013 as a photojournalist. He then served as sports anchor, producer and multimedia journalist until August 2021.
In Hayden’s spare time, he says he loves spending time with his family – especially his wife Madeline and their three dogs Stetson, Tuli, and Charlie. The two welcomed their son Tanner into the world in 2023. He adores traveling, making a mean shrimp boil, playing golf, and watching sports… Oh, and he claims to be a fantasy football guru!
