Empty Bowls 2023

22nd Annual Empty Bowls

BENEFITING THE ARKANSAS FOODBANK

We will celebrate the 22nd anniversary of Empty Bowls on Saturday, May 18, 2024, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Venue at Oakdale in Sherwood. Empty Bowls will honor a long-time supporter Philip Tappan, for his dedication to the Foodbank’s mission.

At the 2024 Empty Bowls, guests will be transported to the Golden Age of Hollywood. The night will begin in our new speakeasy with an atmosphere of jazz music and the clinking of specialty cocktails. Guests will then enter the main venue space for a sit down dinner and the Empty Bowls program. We encourage guests to play along with our theme by wearing your favorite classy and vintage red carpet attire. Picture Marilyn Monroe and Cary Grant at a premiere - crisp suits and floating silks, velvets, and satins.

In honor of the Arkansas Foodbank's 40th Anniversary, there will be an art feature at Empty Bowls. Artists from Arkansas, Missouri, and England have donated bowls that will be on display at the event. Through their art, we will draw attention to the 280,000 neighbors we serve each and every day that would have empty bowls at the dinner table if it were not for individuals and companies that partner with the Arkansas Foodbank.

The Venue at Oakdale is located at 901 Kellogg Acres Rd., North Little Rock, AR 72120.
