The Arkansas Foodbank is the foundation in the fight against hunger. We find pathways to connect people, resources and food to reach those in need, providing dignity, hope and a brighter future for all Arkansans.
In 2020, Arkansas Foodbank distributed a staggering 40 million pounds of food across our 33-county region. With the support of our community, our neighbors facing hunger were able to put food on their table. As we continue to meet the increased need in 2021, were gearing up to celebrate our 19th annual signature fundraising event - Empty Bowls. We invite you to join us at Immanuel Baptist Church Little Rock for a drive-thru luncheon on May 7, 2021 from 11:00am-1:00pm. Little Rock's finest restaurants will prepare signature dishes to be served in takeout containers to each guest's car window. The event will feature live visual entertainment to enjoy from your vehicle as you drive through each stop along with a display of beautiful, handcrafted bowls created by local artists. These bowls as well as extravagant packages donated by our generous supporters will be available for bid through a virtual auction during the week of the event. The 19th Annual Empty Bowls will honor our volunteers, food pantries, and community partners who brought new life to our mission this past year as they filled the empty bowls of our hungry neighbors amidst the pandemic.
