5TH ANNUAL HARVEST WEEK
September 7-12, 2020 | Online Auction, Virtual Activities, Socially Distant Community Activities|Details below!
Benefiting the Arkansas Foodbank
- What is Harvest Week? Typically known as Harvest Night, but this year called Harvest Week, is the marquee event for September’s Hunger Action Month! This year the event will take place over the course of a week with an online auction, virtual children's activities and a couple of local (central Arkansas) socially distant activities. The activities will range from:
Night at the Golf Range, Stone's Throw Brewery night, Drive-in Movie and more! All benefiting the Arkansas Foodbank.
With consideration to current COVID-19 safety precautions, this year’s event may look a little different, but it will offer new and innovative ways to engage a community of support. We’ve seen the need for food in our service area skyrocket. As businesses and schools closed and unemployment increased, we were able to ensure Arkansans had access to the most basic of needs—food. The need is still there and we must continue feeding our hungry neighbors
- Who does it help? The event will benefit the Arkansas Foodbank, the foundation in the fight against hunger. We find pathways to connect people, resources and foot to reach those in need, providing dignity, hope and a brighter future for all Arkansans
- What do I wear to the event? Causal attire
- How does this work? Take a look at the schedule below - feel free to attend any one of these events virtually or in-person. If you choose to attend an in-person event you may have to pay a cost, that information will be provided to you. All details will be available in the schedule once finalized!
