One in four children face food insecurity in Arkansas, and in some of our rural counties, that rate is as high as one in three.

Children need nutritious food to grow and thrive, and they need it every day. Unfortunately, over 87,000 children in central and south Arkansas are food insecure, meaning they aren’t sure when or where their next meal will come from.

At the Arkansas Foodbank, we are committed to exploring ways to create seamless access to nutritious food for children who face hunger.

Hello friends and family, Thank you for visiting my Hunger Hero fundraiser page. Your generosity and kindness will not go unnoticed. I am asking to you take some time and read about this awesome opportunity to be a helper in the community of helping others along with me. Just by simply donating to this GREAT fundraiser you will give children that may not know where their next meal may come from a meal to eat, hope and the ability to rest without worry. "Mallory Thompson is my niece. She is like me in many ways. We CARE about people and their well being. We see a need....we feed a need. If you have never hungry....like NOT have anything to eat as a child. Then you have no idea what its like. I know personally what it's like to have nothing to eat as a child. I promised God that if I shoud live to graduate from high school that I was going to college and get my degree. Then for the rest of my life I would give back because it was people like you ....you and you that fed me and my grandmother. Mallory, don't EVER stop giving.
